Who we are
I am Ana. I am creating Flora Flow.
An art, movement and community project in Colares, Sintra, with an opening planned for 2027.
I am Ana Santana, also known as Ana Isis of Anaisis Bellydance. Dance gave me a sense of freedom and a way to connect with my body and with people. Flora Flow grows from that wish to create and share.
I want to build a place where nature, art and movement can meet. I am preparing this project with NOMA, in botanical and textile art, and Patricia Xavier de Carvalho of Art Healing Lands, in care and wellbeing practices.
Flora Flow is still in preparation. Images of the space show our vision; the opening is planned for 2027, with the exact date still to be announced.
The name Flora Flow
Flora brings to mind plants, roots and natural cycles. Flow is dance, fluidity and movement. We brought the two words together because they express what we want to grow here.
Vision
To create an inclusive, creative and conscious community, rooted in nature, welcoming people of different ages and backgrounds. We want every visit to offer an opportunity for expression, discovery and connection, and for the space to become a place people want to return to.
Mission
To offer meaningful experiences of art, movement, wellbeing and ecological education, bringing people together and cultivating respectful relationships with nature and the community.

Sustainability guides how we envision the space and its experiences: valuing natural, reused and local materials; reducing waste; supporting a circular economy; caring for water and energy; protecting biodiversity; and offering practical environmental education.
We grow in community
NOMA brings botanical and textile art; Patricia, therapies and astral maps; I bring belly dance, movement and body expression.
