Dance & Movement

Dance & Movement: belly dance in Colares, Sintra

Find your own way to dance.

I am Ana Santana, also known as Ana Isis, of Anaisis Bellydance. Dance gives me freedom, presence and a way to connect with other people. That is what I want to share with you.

You do not need to know how to dance. My workshops leave room to explore rhythm, discover your own movement and dance without competition. I am preparing the first gatherings at Flora Flow in Colares, with opening planned for 2027.

“The moments this dance has given me are infinite, and no one can ever take them away from me. At 30 (only!), I discovered a sense of absolute freedom and met my truest self. For those five minutes of dancing, I transcend my mind — and I know I can always return to that place. Forever.”

What we will explore in a workshop

We begin with belly dance and make room for intuitive movement, body expression and free dance. The workshops are open-level: come with no experience or bring what you already know. We finish by dancing freely together.

Every body has its own expression. You do not need to fit an image, an age or a gender to explore this dance. If a gathering is intended for a specific group, its description will say so clearly.

My path in dance

As Anaisis Bellydance, I have brought oriental dance to stages, workshops and gatherings in Sintra, Colares and Cascais. I enjoy exploring rhythm, veils and sagats, the small cymbals played with the fingers.

The videos on this page share a little of that journey. Explore my work and story on the Anaisis Bellydance website, and discover how this new project began in Who we are.

Group workshops and hen parties

If you gather at least 7 people, we can discuss a workshop just for your group. I also welcome enquiries for hen parties.

While Flora Flow is being prepared, we can explore holding a gathering at another venue you suggest. The date, location and conditions always need confirmation. Message me on Flora Flow’s WhatsApp with your idea, group size and preferred date.
