Flora Flow is an art, movement and community project in Colares, Sintra, created by Ana Santana. It is not open to the public yet.

General questions about Flora Flow
Where in Sintra is Flora Flow being prepared?
In Colares, between the Serra de Sintra and the sea. The planned address is Rua dos Brejos 69, 2705-352 Colares. The space is not open to the public yet.
Is Flora Flow already running?
Not yet. We are preparing the space and first experiences, with opening planned for 2027. The exact date is not yet confirmed.
Do the images show real facilities?
The images of the deck, yurt and pavilion with a mandala are AI-generated illustrations of the project’s vision. They do not show completed facilities. The photographs of Ana and the partners show the people and their work.
What are Flora Flow’s opening hours?
There are no public opening hours while the space is being prepared. The day and time of each activity will be published once it is confirmed.
Will activities be in English or Portuguese?
We are preparing activities in Portuguese and English. Let us know your preference when you get in touch; each gathering’s details will be published with its confirmed date.
Is Flora Flow for all ages?
We want to welcome people of different ages and backgrounds, with experiences for adults and programmes for children and families. Each gathering will list the recommended ages, level and participation conditions.
Who is behind Flora Flow?
The project is led by Ana Santana, also known as Ana Isis, of Anaisis Bellydance. NOMA is preparing botanical and textile art experiences; Patrícia Xavier de Carvalho of Art Healing Lands brings therapies and astral maps; and Ana brings dance and movement.
