Getting to Flora Flow in Colares
We are preparing to open in Colares in 2027. We are not yet receiving walk-in visitors.
This page brings together travel information for when we can meet. Before travelling, wait until we confirm the opening and an activity or visit arranged with us. Get in touch if you have questions or would like to follow the project.
Planned location in Colares
The planned address for the project is Rua dos Brejos 69, 2705-352 Colares, in the municipality of Sintra. The map shows where the project is planned; it does not mean the space is already open to the public.
Colares lies between the Sintra hills and the sea, in the area of Praia Grande and Praia das Maçãs.
From Lisbon
If you are driving, plan your route to Colares and check traffic conditions on the day of your visit. Roads around Sintra and the beaches can be busier at weekends and in summer.
If you prefer the train, check the route and timetable to Sintra station. The station is not beside the planned location: you will need to arrange the onward journey to Colares.
From Sintra
Colares is part of the municipality of Sintra, but it is outside the town centre. From the station or historic centre, plan an onward journey to Colares by car, taxi or another local transport option.
If you are coming from Queluz, Cacém, Rio de Mouro or Algueirão-Mem Martins, you can plan your journey along the Sintra rail line and then check the local connection.
From Cascais
Plan your drive to Colares with the hill roads and traffic conditions in mind. The Cascais rail line does not run directly to Sintra station.
If you do not have a car, speak to us once an activity is confirmed. We can help arrange a lift, depending on the availability of other participants.
Before you leave home
When we confirm your activity or visit, we will confirm the arrival point, parking on the dirt road and access conditions. If you have mobility requirements or are coming with children, tell us in advance so we can explain what will be possible.
Confirmed programmes and dates will be published in the agenda. Until then, explore our vision for the space and the experiences we are preparing.

Is Flora Flow already open for visits?
Not yet. Opening is planned for 2027. Please travel only after we have confirmed the opening and an activity or visit arranged with you.
Can I travel by public transport?
You can plan a journey to Sintra station, but you will need to check a local connection to Colares. Once an activity is confirmed, contact us about access and the possibility of arranging a lift.
